Original Watercolor Painting 37/100 Stormy Seas Vancouver from the 100 Days of Blue series from 2018 now donated to a fundraiser for Riverside Center for Spiritual Living 

Hello Everyone! I have been laying low since the Covid craziness and am just now poking my head up to look around. I love how my website is still going strong thanks to the team at FASO Fine Art Studios Online!  The next order of business is to get busy making some new art.

This painting entitled Bisbee Copper Hills originally shown here at Riverside Art Museum and it is now featured in Southwest Art Magazine June issue. The theme of the issue is Celebrating Nature and my painting appears on page 95 in the section on Landscape and Wildlife Paintings to Collect.

This acrylic on canvas was done about 2009 when I was part of the Arts community from in 2004-2010  in Bisbee, Arizona.

Watercolor from 100 blue paintings series last summer.

Summer is Over: 100 DAYS OF BLUE 

My plan was to spend the 100 days of Summer 2018 between Memorial Day and Labor Day as an Ambassador for the global water-lovers movement initiated by Wallace J. Nichols, author of Blue Mind. In response to this call I began creating 100 original artworks over the Summer based on my reflections on our precious water planet. We know that even seeing pictures of water has a salient effect, so too 

with artwork !

 

In fact I was so inspired by  Blue Mind that I made a significant life change by moving my home and studio to more positive, supportive space, which meant I hit pause at about Day 70 with this image!                                    

I am now completing the last images and will continue to make art about the healing power of water and be part of this global movement!
