100 Days of Blue
Summer 2018

After reading and re-reading Blue Mind I became challenged to do 100 water scenes over the Summer of 2018 here are half of them pictured above.
MY WATERY LIFE!
My blue mind is being flooded with many memories of my watery life: from catching my first fish at age three in a creek in Illinois with my Mom, to rafting the Salmon River, to kayaking with orcas off Vancouver. The #100daysofblue is giving me a forum to tell these stories about the power of water. Wishing you water.

The text from Southwest Art Magazine:
" Jo Thompson has been inspired by the people and landscapes of the Southwest since the early 70s when she first went west to Tucson. Collectors worldwide have sought her landscape paintings for their dramatic sunlight and shadows. As a member of the Bisbee, Arizona art community she painted many local scenes, like Bisbee Copper Hills."
