This is the oil painting I created during the PAAR Plein Air Artists of Riverside, Quick Draw Competition in Fairmount Park in February of 2014. I was attracted to the pond with its reflections and purple shadows. Working in oils within a short period of time, I employed a more impressionistic style than my studio work and it was fun. This painting was shown in the Riverside Art Museum exhibition.
